The Mysterious Gardener
The scene takes place in Mr. Mellow’s house. It was Christmas day. Mr. Mellow had been unfaithful to his wife. For Christmas, he received an envelope containing a letter and two plane tickets to go to an island. When he opened it, in the living room, his wife surprised him and asked for some explanations. What the husband did not know, was that his wife had been unfaithful too, with the gardener. This one came in the living room and asked what happened here. Once this delicate situation was clear, the wife took revenge, caught a gun to kill her husband, but the gardener got ahead of her and hit Mr. Mellow as he died with a shovel.

On 24th December, the day before Christmas, Mrs Blood came home earlier than usually to make a surprise to her husband. When she arrived in the living room, Mr Blood was sitting on the couch. Mrs Blood went to sit down next to him but she saw the gifts opened at the foot of the Christmas tree. She looked at her husband when a decoration of the tree fell down; she turned herself towards the tree and saw a young girl standing up next to it. Mrs Blood went into a towering rage. She went upstairs, entered her office and took a gun that was hidden. She went back downstairs and pointed the gun in the direction of the girl. But Mr Blood, so much in love, jumped to save her and got shot. Mrs Blood shouted and called the police. She said that the young girl shot him dead. But after a long investigation, Mrs Blood was arrested for the murder of her husband. Her fingerprints were discovered on the gun.

This story takes place on Christmas Eve. There was a lovely couple living in a big luxury house. Mr and Mrs Whatever were married for about two years now. On Christmas day, as everything was going well, something happened. Hannah Whatever was upstairs getting ready, putting on her make-up and Quentin Whatever was having a drink in the living room, which was downstairs. The Christmas presents were all around the tree, waiting for the opening. But no one suspected that the tree was in fact alive. So when Quentin first saw the tree moving, he didn't feel anything strange. Hannah was still in the bathroom, singing randomly. At first, the tree was only slightly shivering, but then it started to make bigger moves and to shake furiously. Quentin saw it and rose up from his chair. Suddenly, Quentin got grabbed by the Christmas tree and as the tree was shaking him violently, Quentin started to have a seizure. He started to choke, after what he fell down to the ground. He was dead. His fall on the ground had made such a big noise that Hannah, who had been in the bathroom all this time, got downstairs to see what had happened. She carried a gun with her, just in case. When she saw her husband's body, lying on the carpet, face down, she stopped and fell into terrible sobs and cries. She tried to seek the murderer in the room through the tears but there was no one. The tree was no longer moving.

The night of the 24th December, a family was preparing to go out.
The dad and his son were in the living room and the little kid was opening his Christmas presents. Suddenly, the two guys heard a sound. That was Santa Claus, he was coming back to take the presents back. Angry, Santa Claus punched the dad. The poor man was knocked out and Santa Claus chose to kidnap the kid. The wife, who was getting ready, heard the same weird sound and chose to take the gun, which was hidden, in the room. Therefore, she went downstairs and she saw her husband lying on the ground, her kid was not here, and the presents had disappeared. She was trying to wake up her husband but that did not work. After 5 minutes, she heard some bell and she saw Santa Claus fell in the fireplace. She saw the kid on his back and she shot Santa Claus. Finally, they hid Santa Claus in the garden and they took the place of Santa Claus. Now, they distribute presents to all kids on earth.

We took a picture of our shelves because the teacher asked us to do it and it’s interesting to look at the others’ pictures.
Now, have a look at the best shelfies in our class. The winners are Joachim, Chloé, Marie & Emma.
This shelfie was taken by Chloé Crochard (201). A lot of objects are on her shelf: there are medals, a dancer jewelry door, a porcelain egg, pictures, a shell box and memories from the 2016-2017 championship. The best object for Chloé is the medal that she won at the 2017 French kayak championship because she won it during the last competition of the season.
Joachim’s shelfie won the big tournament in the English class with Emma, Marie and Chloé. Joachim took this photograph in his bedroom. The best object for Joachim is the scarf. There are a lot of objects on his shelf: manga or DVDs for example.
It is Emma’s shelfie. It is in her bedroom in Belfort. We can see a lot of cups because it’s when she won a triathlon. At the bottom, there are a lot of medals too. On the left, this is her dance tips because she practiced classical dance for twelve years. So the shelfie really represents Emma.
Marie has presented this shelfie.
The photograph comes from Bréchaumont. Firstly she showed her objects and then presented the best object for her which is her watch because she often uses it.
We found that the shelfies of our group are nice. The four winner shelfies are complete.
The students did a very good job. Thank you!
